We had 73 Best Time swims, 11 First Time Legal swims, and 15 Team Records broken over the weekend at the District Meet.  Congrats to Anastasia, Fernanda, Hannah, Jawone, and Clay for breaking SEASTARS Team Records! The top five most time dropped swims were as follows:

5.  Alton (AJ) Lee (14) dropped :25.02  in the 200 Freestyle; swimming a 2:42.35

4. Michael B (19) dropped :38.07 in the 200 IM; swimming a 2:52.62

3. Zekel Toles (10) dropped :41.82 in the 200 Freestyle; swimming a 3:53.16

2. Shaniqua Philyaw (10) dropped :55.61 in the 100 Backstroke; swimming a 1:41.73

1. Mia Zareck (8) dropped 1:03.01 in the 100 Freestyle; swimming a 2:13.65

Congrats to Anastasia, Fernanda, Gracie, Hannah, and Clay who as a total broke 8 records! Out of 14 swimmers there were 44 best time swims and 4 first time legal swims. Clay also earned the High-Point Runner Up trophy for the Senior Men’s Age Group.  The top 5 time drops over the weekend were:

4. Daniela Cruz (9) dropped 53.82 in the 100 IM for a time of 2:13.18

3. Clay Taylor (16) dropped 55.06 in the 1650 Free for a time of 19:24.12

2. AJ Lee (14) dropped 58.15 in the 200 IM for a time of 3:24.97

1.DD Blankenship (14) dropped 2:02.33 in the 500 Free for a time of 7:07.25

Southeastern Districts at UWF is in two weeks! Can’t wait to see how the 17 of them will do! Way to go team!
