Opportunities are now offered to children that have never been available before. Swimming is often refered to as a “privileged” or “country club” sport, but now SEASTARS Aquatics makes it available for all.
With the cost of living rising, it has become harder for parents to afford extra curricular activities, especially swimming. Currently it cost parents $1000-$2000 per year for their child to participate on a competitive swim team (cost includes coaching fees, USA swimming registration, suits, caps, and goggles). SEASTARS Aquatics makes it possible for any qualified child to be a part of a swim team. SEASTARS is established as a year round swim team
for economically, physically and mentally challenged children and adolescents. SEASTARS promotes and fosters the common good and general welfare of the community through civic betterments and social improvements.
Swimmers will gain leadership, sportsmanship, unity, desire to help others, development of strength (in swimming and life), motivation, and time management skills.
SEASTARS is possible because of caring individuals like you. By helping SEASTARS Aquatics, you give a child the chance to dress in uniform, participate on a team, develop life skills, and accomplish their dreams.
With your help, a child is now off the streets, safer in the water, physically fit and
healthy, and developing into a upstanding citizen. Support SEASTARS and help a child in the persuit of their dreams.
Anyone who donates time or money to SEASTARS Aquatics becomes an Honorary Member of the SEASTARS Support Club. Members receive a periodic news letter, a SEASTARS decal, and invitations to team banquets and social events. SEASTARS Aquatics, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Corporation under the Internal Revenue Code, all money donated is tax deductible.
