Pensacola Bay Swim May 19th, 2013

We had 9 swimmers compete in the Bay swim! All Swimmers finished this year! The mile swimmers were Anastasia (8), Daniela (9), Fernanda(11), Gracie (15), Alec (14), and Kyshon (15)! The 5K Swimmers were Clay(16), Monty (17), and DD(14)! The wind was strong and the seas were rough, but the swimmers were tough and conquered their goal! Great job, Swimmers!

SEASTARS Dominate at CID Corry Station during the PNY Armed Forces Day Pentathlon May 18th!

25 swimmers in the PNY Armed Forces Day Pentathlon Saturday May 18th with 20 First Time Swims and 35 Best Time Swims! 9 Records were broken: Anastasia Adams (8) 26 Breast, 25 Fly and 100 IM; Fernanda Cruz (11) 50 Back and 50 Fly; and Gracie Miller(15) 100 Back, 100 Breast, 100 Fly, and 200 IM! Way to go team!

15 Swimmers Compete at UWF for The GPAC Long Course Meet

We had some awesome swims at the GPAC Long Course Meet May 11&12! SEASTARS had 15 swimmers entered and had 69 First time Swims and 28 Best Time Swims! There were also 13 TEAM RECORDS Broken! Congrats to Anastasia Adams (8) 50 back, 100 back, 50 breast, 100 breast, 50 fly, and 100 fly; Gracie Miller (15) 100 free, 200 free, 100 back, 100 breast, and 100 fly; Jawone Blankenship “DD” (14) 50 breast; and Allen Simmons (8) 100 back!

Congrats to Kennen Figaro-Nunez for being the SEASTARS Swimmer of the Week for May 17th!

May is a busy month for the SEASTARS Swimmers

Busy two weekends ahead, SEASTARS! 15 Swimmers entered in the GPAC long course meet at UWF this Saturday and Sunday, Fun Friday next Friday the 17th, 28 Swimmers entered in the PNY Pentathlon at CID Corry Station Saturday the 18th, and 9 Swimmers (6 Mile swimmers and 3 5K Swimmers) entered in the Bay Swim Sunday the 19th! Can’t wait to see the up coming competitions! Go, SEASTARS!
